Eredivisie Match Predictions and Betting Strategy

This page contains a table with live probabilities for the results of the upcoming matches in the Eredivisie.

Combining this with the live odds of the bookmakers, we can make a betting strategy.

The strategy is as follows: calculate the expected payout of each bet by multiplying the probability of payout with the odd.

Then, pick the highest one given that it is greater than 1.

If none of the three results give an expected payout of more than 1, do not place a bet.

The predictions are made using a Random Forest model using Eredivisie match results and statistics from 2005 until the present.

The odds might be slightly different than the live odds.

Different models are used to predict goals and the winner. For this reason sometimes the expected winner has lower expected goals than the expected loser.
